Hi,
My 1993 XJ40 is giving a few electrical problems. The Reversing lights &
Foglights are not working. The bulb failure is staying on. The indicators
dash warning is flashing at double speed. I can't find a fuse for the
reverse & foglights. A friend came around to help early yesterday morning,
the car had been standing out all night and was very damp. The bulb failure
light did not come on straight away. The indicators worked OK. The reversing
lights worked. When I tried the foglights, just one came on, as did the bulb
failure light. When I switched off the foglight, the bulb warning light went
off. I thought fine just replace a bulb! Two hours later I set off to buy a
bulb all the previous faults had returned! Also I don't know if it's
significant, the fuel guage sometimes works and other times shows empty and
the fuel warning light comes on. Any suggestions please.
