I am having difficulty starting my XK8 in the morning if it is <50 degrees. I bought it with 51k on it and now it has 63K. I'm not sure if it needs a tune up or a new fuel filter, but once it warms up it starts fine. I called the local Jaguar dealership and they told me to press my foot on the gas "BEFORE" turning the ignition and then turn the key to clear the gas line. This only worked once. What could be the problem and is this normal for this model Jaguar

It could be that your ecu temp sensor is not functioning correctly (
out of calibration). Consider this part a part of a good tune-up.
