Help,

Anyone got any ideas as to where to start to resolve this or had the problem
themselves..

The ignition checks are run and the airbag light is on during this time,
then goes off briefly and then stays on constantly.

The only thing I have donme on the car is replaced the drivers side rear
door including all its modules (I dont think this caused it but didnt check
the dash at the time. I can't see why it should, but thought i would mention
it just in case).

Everything else on the vehicle is working fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Adrian

Dear Adrian,

I had the same difficulty in my '97 XJ6 (X300).  I found out my problem
was caused by having a mobile phone put too near the dash above the
steering wheel.  It sounds strange but my problem was solved after
keeping that in mind.

With kind regards,
