Hiya,

The car is a 1990 XJ6 4 litre UK spec.
When the brake pedal is pressed, the brake warning light comes on.
The pads have all been changed and the wires to them appear to be good.
The car brakes just fine on the road but it ain't going to pass the MOT with
this light on!

Any help appreciated, thanx in advance for advice.

Tried disconnecting the sensors, one at a time?

I think you will find they work the other way round in that the light
comes on when the sensor goes open circuit. If so when you unplug the
sensors you must short circuit the teminals in the plug on the wiring
loom. This was certainly the case on a 1986 XJ40.
