Hi,

I have been reviewing the comments on this newsgroup regarding the
Jaguar cars and see that the owners are quite happy with their rides.
I'm interested in purchasing an S-Type 2K+ (used due to cost of a new
one) in Ontario and have a couple of questions.

What were the surprises of your ownership of the S-Type in regards to
maintenance and its corresponding costs of ownership?  I understand
that there were some issues with the auto tranny, it would lock up on
inclines when parked.  How was this dealt with, was it an issue?
