Hello

My owner's manual shows hot air (i.e. red arrows) coming from the
centre console vents on my 1990, 4.0L, straight six, US (--as opposed
to Canadian--) version.
The Jag shop here in Ottawa, says it is a mis-print; no hot air is
available through the centre console.
Is this true?

Regards

Richard

I get hot air from my mid vents but I am in the UK if that makes a
difference.

To my knowledge there should not be anything but
cold air from the aircon in the middle vent. However
from the middle rear vent there should be hot air coming
out. I don't think there is any differenses in your english
car than to other european or american jaguars, aside from
that you have the steering wheel on the wrong side.
Take a look in the drivers manual and you will se where
the cool/hot air is supposed to come out. I think your
air vent flaps are stuck. Buy Haynes repair book and
start fixing the problem.

I get heat or cold from the mid-vents, depending on dial setting.
