Fuel tank removal question

I need to replace my intank fuel pump (it has voltage but it won't
make a peep.)

The Haynes repair manual specifies removing the propeller shaft in
order to gain access to the fuel lines from underneath the vehicle.

My question is: How hard are these fuel lines to get to? Any tips or
tool recommendations greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

If you would take the time to post the year and model you are
dealing with, there's a strong chance that someone might reply.
