I'm new to the vintage Jaguar world and was just wondering is it possible to
swap out the borg warner model 8 to a Jag 4 speed? Also are there conversion
kits for doing. By the way this is for 1968 XKE 2 + 2.

Thanks in advance.

Yes it is a straight bolt-on swap...if you don't mind removing the
engine and bolting on a new flywheel, bellhousing, propellor shaft,
etc.  If you're going to go to the expense, check out the 5-speed t-5
conversions available.  The first two are suppliers and the last two
links offer lots of background and discussion.
