Hello,

I've a Jaguar XJ6 from 1995. This has stand still for about 5 years. I've a
problem with the steering at both sides when the engine runs stationary.
Steering is very heavy than!! I've already changed the oil, but it is much
heavy then before.

What's wrong?

Sounds like the steering rack seals have hardened and it needs to be
rebuilt... what's the mileage on the car?

chances are its the pas pump, they are noted for it, if the steering becomes
easier with light throttle application its the pump
