Hello,

I need some information regarding the CATS system on 1999 xkr. I am
interested in a car that's been lowered (modestly) and has 20" wheels.
I understand that all xkr:s have the CATS system fitted (correct?) and
just wondering if the modifications mentioned affects this system in
any way?

Also I am looking for xkr resources.. especially year-by-year changes
etc.

Anything in particular to watch out for on the 1999 model?

Thanks!

Your CATS will not be affected, however, fitting large rims has never
been in the interest of performance. Most large wheels are difficult
to balance and make a nice riding car ride like &(@$!

i WILL SAY THIS....Make sure your new wheels dont exceed factory
specs, if they do, you will be one unhappy sucker!Plus one or plus two
is ok...but plus 3.5 lol!!!!

The 20" wheels are fine and the 2000  Silverstones were lowered.  Don't
expect a soft ride but hey! you get used to it and the handling is
fantastic.
