Just visited Halewood the home of the X Type. the latest is that bad
luck associated with Green Cars, they have had loads of death related
accidents and anyone who has bought a green x type has had nothing but
bad luck (see Liverpool Echo feb 03).

Hi,

This was is something that's been going around the circuit for years, I
remember reading in auto magazines that green car's were always bad luck and
had more problems than most other colours, back then it was down to the fact
that there were more green cars on the road than any other colour, so
statistically this was going to be the result.

Maybe there are more green X-Types running round than any other colour hence
the same result.
