My front wipers aren't working so I figured I'd start checking the easy
stuff first.
Yeah right.
The service manual mentions a interor fuse panel, near drivers left leg and
an
under hood fuse box ./ Power Dist Center.
I did find two large fuses in the underhood box, marked wipers on/off and
high/lo,
I swapped them with the fuses for the horn & starter. It still starts and
horn still works.
So I'm thinking that's not it.
The service manual also lists a fuse in the interior fuse panel 'C1 20
Amp'..
However, I can't locate it (nor the one for the seats (C2).
Both of these are circuit breakers, according to the manual.
Where are they located?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
ThankX,
Ron

well, I just happened to go through this with my 89 wrangler...here's a
link to our forum where I was chasing it down.....
http://www.carkb.com/Uwe/Forum.aspx/jeep/7338/89-YJ-Wrangler-WIPER-and-
Gauge-problems
basically, on mine, it was at the very bottom of the fuse box. wasn't
labeled at all. Mine was missing, and I placed a fuse in its place. The
circuit breaker is basically a automatic resetable fuse. The contacts look
like any other fuse contacts. My fuse box had a little indentation in it
at the bottom in the middle, where I'm assuming a small rectangle type fuse
(circuit breaker) would plug into. I don't know what it looks like,
because mine wasn't there, and napa was clueless what I was talking about.
Let me know if you find it
