I don't mean to sound harsh here, but you should have a gob of warranty left
on it - haul it in to the Jeep dealership and tell them you want them to
blow your horn!
Why don't people use their warranties? I'll never figure it out.
Chances are, on your Libby either soemthing has come unplugged or if you had
it out in water or mud it may have one side plugged, maybe even a mud dobber
made a nest in it.
To locate your horn (oh god it's hard to say that with a straight face),
you open the hood and stick your head under there and have your significant
other, or a small wickedly humored child press the horn button.
After you get done cussing and rubbing your head from where you whacked it
when you jumped as it honked, you'll exactly know where it is - and won't
likely ever forget it's location.
Try laying under that location and see if you can hear it, or reach your
hand up there and feel for it when it honks.
Maybe it burned out..... horns burn out.
I've had two trucks that the horns went out on - must have been lack of use.
Yup, that's what a warranty is for, stupid stuff that goes wrong.
You sit and drink a cuppa coffee while a tech gest his clothes all dirty and
scrapes HIS arm up trying to reach the doggone thing.
