My 1997 XJ, 6 cyl, 4L engine seems to have a very small seep or leak of
coolant near or at the rear of the block. My question is: is their a "freeze
plug" or "core plug" at the rear of the block, just in front of the
flywheel?
I can see, through the jungle, freeze plugs on the rear sides of the
block, and they are not leaking, but (perish the thought) it might be coming
from just forward of the flywheel. Sob.
