Hi,

My 89 Jeep won't fire I guess is the term, tries to start hear the
engine trying, but nothing, prior to this it was taking a try or two to start
like 5-6secs a try usually on the second it would...I'd love any suggestions
or area's to look into, thanks.

Sounds like a fuel problem.  Is it getting gas?

Second try starts (on a fuel injected system) usually indicate a bad
check valve in the pump or a faulty pressure regulator.  I think the 89
did come with fuel injection.  Not sure what the spec is.

The short term fix is to turn the ignition on, but don't start.  Then off
then on, then start.  The first on works to prime the system.
