There are some circuits problems with my 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Thanks in advance for any advise and comments.

1) The cargo door light (and the interior light) will not go off even
all the doors are closed. The cargo door light switch can not turn it
off either. I checked all the switches at the 4 doors and they are
good. Any idea?

2) The car is very difficult to initiate to move from start in D gear.
The engine is fine. It is impossible for it to move if stopped at an
uphill position. When the speed goes up to 10-15 mph, everything seems
to be fine in D gear. The initial move problem is gone when I put the
car into 2 or 1 gear. It seems that the transmission will not go back
to 1st gear at a stop. Coincidentally, the overdrive light is not on
when I push the O/D switch. The switch itself and the illumination
light are fine (I checked it). Also, the TCU fuse (mini red, 10 amp)
in the power distribution center box is blown out. I tried to replace
it, it was blown out immediately again.

Thanks again for any suggestions.

I could swear someone else just had this same issue, dimly recall
it was a blown fuse.  #5 if memory serves.

A bad TCU is one of the listed causes for inability to drop into
first in Drive.  It may not be a bad TCU, it could be a crunched
 wire.
