93 grand cherokee wiring issues

My 93 grand cherokee had some mice living in the heater box while it was
sitting, unregistered for about a year. i finally got the car back on the
road and noticed a funky smell in the a/c vents. needless to say i removed
the dashboard and heater box, cleaned out everything, sprayed some
dissinfectant spray, etc.., and when i was re-assembling the dash i noticed a
spark on the back of the instrument cluster when it touched the metal dash
support. (yeah i know i should have disconnected the battery!) i figured i
just blew a fuse and continued to install the dash. now after it was done i
looked for blown fuses, and cannot find any.
my dash lights dont work and it sucks driving at night.
does anybody know if there are fusible links or some hidden fuses somewhere?
i dont even have a fuse diagram for the car (owners manual is long gone), but
a chiltons book i bought has a fuse diagram, which i think is correct. even
still, there are no blown fuses anywhere. this book doesnt have a wiring
diagram for the cluster either. do any of you have access to jeep wiring
diagrams?

The fuse for the dash lights should be the same one for the tail
lights. That is how you know you have no running lights, the dash is
out.

Does the dimmer have any effect? Maybe you burned a coil in there.

Other than that I suspect you have to remove the dash circuit board and
inspect it for a burned out trace. You 'can' repair those with a
soldered jumper wire or even a conductive pen that electronic stores
sell in some cases.
