I have a 2" body lift, if I did it over I'd stick with a 1" lift. You
can get special bumper mounts and nut in under a 1" lift, you need a bit
more to get the hook mount that I have. My bumper is mounted with 1/4" x
2" straps on top and bottom of the frame with the bolt compressing those
onto the frame. If you move the hook back a bit, it fits in better.
My bumpers are custom 2"x5" rock crawler style with intergal winch mount
in front and 2" reciever in the back, both ends are set up as air tanks.

Nice setup, I like the air tank idea too. Small body lifts can be put
to good use.
