Hi !
Just bought a 98 jeep wrangler, and in an attempt to replace the
factory-issued tape player by a CD stereo, all the the gauges on the
dash board aren't working anymore.
Is it a problem with the fuses or the wires/ ( by the way,
eventhough, Ithink I folow the directions and connect all the wires
appropriatly (?), I can,t get the CD player to work).
Will welcome any suggestions.
Thanks. One love.

Go back and check all of your connections. The stereo is on the same
hot lead that the dash is on, which is connected to the ignition switch.
If you screwed something up with that hot lead, it could definitely
knock your dash out of operation.

There is a problem with some TJs instruments:

without first disconnecting the battery, would be asking to blow every fuse
in the place. Fuses are in the whiskey chest:

find any pairs you may have melted together.
