"President Bush told a crowd of auto workers on the outskirts of
Kansas City Tuesday that the hybrid vehicles they make are fitting
examples of the fuel-efficient vehicles he hopes to see filling roads
in the future.
It was just what the proud employees wanted to hear."

Our valiant President also noted that hybrids are far more patriotic
than real cars.  I suppose that means us Jeepers will have to make up
for our lack of patriotism by slapping "Support the Troops" stickers
all over our Communist sympathizing gas-guzzlers. Ha.  McCarthy will
be rolling over in his grave until we're all getting 100 mpg.

The same President who pushed for a tax credit on 9-mpg Hummer H2's.

Ok, this is just F-ing retarded. I'm sick of politicians deciding
what's best for me. It takes half a gallon of diesel to run the
equipment and deliver a gallon of moonshine ^H^H^H ethanol. States are
now cracking down on biodiesel produces for fuel tax evasion. This is
a whole lot more about having voting groups in politicians' back
pockets than doing good for the environment. Let the market drive
conservation and alternative fuels and we'll all pay less.
