I have a 97' jeep grand cherokee that won't turn over. When I go to turn it
on the lights inside come on and dim. I hear a slight clicking but no luck. I
have no idea about cars can somebody please help me out with a suggestion as
to what the problem might be?

If your battery is low or defect you could get this symptom. Not enough
juice to turn starter motor.

If you could locate the clicking sound to be the starter relay and the
battery is ok it could be your starter motor failing. Sort of a symtom for
worn brushes inside motor. You could try tapping the starter motor lightly,
if this helps it is an indication for worn/stuck brushes.

... and I am shure somebody could come up with other reasons, but theese was
what came to my mind ...

Sounds like your battery is (almost) dead. Charging system (alternator)
is not working, your battery is old, or you may have left the lgihts on.
