Well finally got my front locker back from Auburn Gear. My opinion of them
has went down hill STEEPLY.
First, they will not answer their phone for tech information.
Second, they had my locker on their work bench for over two weeks and never
touched it, or in their words "diagnosed" it.
Thirdly, the locker failed because of the coil. Their poor quality parts and
QC would be suspect.
Fourth, It was their part that failed, not abuse on my part, and I STILL had
to pay for disassembly, shipping to and from Auburn Gear, and had to pay to
re-install the locker. ( At least they had the tiniest amount of balls and
replaced the locker for free.)
Now if it fails again, at least I will know that it would be cheaper to take
it out, buy a plane ticket and walk in and shove it up their sorry a$$es and
go buy an E-locker.
So if anyone wants my input on Auburn Gear here it is.
DON'T BUY FROM AUBURN. A waste of time and money. Lousy Quality Control.
Probably Chinese parts. Afraid to answer the phones for fear it might be
someone calling to complain about their slow turn around.
And this to Earle,
This is in an 06 TJ s/e, 4.0 automatic, Yukon super 30 and 35 kits, 4:56
Yukon gears, Junk Auburn Ected lockers front and rear. ( soon to be Dana
60's with Ox Lockers) 4" Procomp lift 35 12.50 15 Procomp M/Ts on Eagle
Alloys and so on and on and on. Too many goodies to list.
I had a Track Loc in the rear until I put it in the shop, but that is a
whole nother can of worms.
Thanks for your input on this.

Muchas gracias amigo. I am thinking of getting a Trash Lock for the front
and a set of Warn locking hubs for my YJ. I wonder how it would do in snow.
I take it that this is a negative on the whole review of the Auburn product.
I am surprised. They have a very good reputation from past offerings and
customer service. Must have been taken over by embusteros, like many
companies in this formerly great country.
Saludos,
Earle
