Anyone know the torque specs for a dana 30 or 300 pinion/yoke nut? I just
swapped yokes for ubolt style, couldn't find much on net for specs, found
one on D 44 at 160 pounds so I did them to that, sound about right?

The '95 YJ FSM says 160 to 260 so you left it just barely in spec.  I
would probably leave it at about 200.

My book says the 300 needs 120-150 ft lb and the 30, 210 ft lb.

Oh well the 30 is easy enought to get at to redo, I'll leave the 300 at
160, I have my body on now, so not easy to get at 300.
How is your frame swap doing Mike? My fiberglass tub was done by previous
owner, and guess what, body was almost 1/2" off to one side, so redo all
holes, epoxy fill in the old ones, mounts are all in, just working on
fitting all my poison spider stuff on.

My swap is on hold at the moment, my wife is on a temp layoff while the
business she works at moves locations so we have been spending time at a
cottage up north.  Just in town for a resupply and away we go again.
She might have 6 more weeks.  :-)

Hi Greg,
Probably just tighten to the original worn bearings without a new sleeve
to shrink, and be OK.

Probably?

Again, why not just say you don't know the answer and are just guessing?

Leave the jheaping to the real jheapers, instead of coughing up debatable
theories.

Some day, someone not familiar with your track record is going to take
your advice, and you are gonna screw them up real good.

Stick to what you know, none of which is suitable for this group.
