00 TJ - Cross drilled, Slotted, or Vented Rotors

I have a 2000 Jeep Wrangler 4.0L sport.  I have 32" tires and no lift.  I am
planning on towing a 4x6 or 5x8 uhaul trailer from Las Vegas to Iowa in a
few weeks.  I know I need new rotors and am wondering which ones are the
best to buy.  I have been looking around and have researched crossdrilled
and slotted rotors.  What do you think is best?  I have heard cross-drilled
eats up the pads and crack, but brake much better.  Also, I have heard some
say cross-drilled will warp faster, and some say it warps slower than normal
rotors.  Any ideas?
Another thing, I saw on ebay some rotors that are crossdrilled and slotted.
Are those any better?
Do you think I should just save and buy normal rotors from Autozone?  ebay

My pads are around 60% remaining and I bought them from PepBoys. Should I
switch them out, or keep them for now?

Cross drilled rotors can crack but only if the holes haven't been eased
or the rotor properly broken in.  I have 16,000 miles on my stillen rotors
and they still look new.  Probably should take a caliper to them and see
what the wear is.

The drilling allows more hot gas to get out and gives better braking
(providing the hydraulics and pads are up to it)
Slotting helps clear debris from the pad.
Not sure which is best, slotted or drilled.  I'm happy with the stillen
discs though. :)

Rotors just don't up and warp unless they are crappy DC rotors. ;)
uneven torque, drenching and head-soaking are the prime cause.
Heat soaking is when you use the brakes a lot then sit with your
foot on the pedal.  That holds the pad against the rotor and makes that
spot stay much hotter than the rest of the rotor.  Not that you should
sit there with your foot off the brake or ride the clutch.. Just that
if you used the brakes a lot they should be given some time to cool down
when you can.

    I really believe if you just replace with any replacement disk from
any parts store, you'll solve your problem. It just seems to be a
problem with all Chrysler case iron parts, dating way back to the
sixties. We can climb all over a Ford or GM disks and never have a
wrapped disk.

I went to cross-drilled rotors because the price for the cross-drilled
rotors were damn close to what I would have paid for say Raybestos
rotors....

From what I have read cross-drilled rotors are better than slotted
rotors, slotted rotors "cut" the brake pads.  Like Ford & Chevy, Great
Taste-Less Filling everybody has their own opinions on the cross-drilled
and slotted rotors.

That is a Long Beach, CA based reseller and that is not his first user
name.  Last I saw of him he has *many* negative feedback ratings.  I'll
look up the old name ASAP if you want.

My good friend did buy cross-drilled rotors for his '99 XJ from this guy
on eBay,

The guy is in Canada but packed the rotors great and was a class act all
the way...  There are other makes and I used Stillen myself, they are
pricey but I got in on a group buy.

Good price and the rotors were drop-shipped from Stillen.
Pads (raybestos) were just boxed and fedexed.
