There is an outfit called Sidekick that makes a series of offroading maps.
They make one for Calico, and many other areas. Try sidekick.com as a start.
Then try OffRoad Warehouse and 4WheelParts Wholesalers as a second, and
third, place to start.
Calico is BLM land.

One thing I've noticed about Sidekick's maps... they're not very good. I
ordered several at once and found they were basically too general in nature
and too lacking in detailed to use to navigate through such complex trail
areas like are found at Calico and Los Coyotes Indian Reservation. They're
basically now sitting unused in my map pouch.
Much better and worth the $$ is a book called "Guide to Southern California
Backroads & 4-Wheel Drive Trails" by Charles A. Wells. Do a search for it
on the Internet and you'll find several sources for it. It's by far the
most complete and most detailed book on trails with realistic descriptions
on their difficulty, excellent maps, GPS coordinates, and even photos of
most trails. There's no trail I'm aware of that is not well documented in
this book, including all of the Calico trails. I highly recommend it. :)

You know, my Sidekick maps spend a lot of time burried deep in the glove
box. I thought they were a little vague as well, but I thought it was just
me. I like the format and the paper stock, but I guess I haven't really used
them to navigate anywhere. Perhaps they serve well as a "overview" of an
area, but fall short of actually helping one become un-lost.
