Hello Group
A Friend who owns a 99TJ 4.0L
is complaining of the 4X4 lever rattling while driving
down a paved road. Stops rattling when pushing on it.
He's ready to remove the skid plate...etc to find the cause.
I thought I'd ask this well informed group if anyone else
experienced this and found a remedy.
Thanks in advance
Regards
Frank

It might just need a linkage adjustment, which can be done underneath the
Jeep without removing the skidplate. Loosen the set screw on the linkage,
adjust the position and re-tighten.
