Having 4.10 and 4.11 in the front and rear axles is normal, there is no
choice, such a difference is normal. Just about every 4x4 has a .01
ratio difference between the front and rear axle and it is because of
the two different ring gear sizes of the front and rear axles. Install
whatever is available, 4.10 or 4.11, in the 8.8 and it will be fine.
3.55 and 3.54, 4.10 and 4.11, 3.73 and 3.74 are all common combinations.
For 33" tires, I'd regear both axles to 4.56 though, and if you plan to
go to 35" tires, I'd regear to 4.88.

Hi Jerry,
I understand the greater the number the better off road. If this is my
daily driver, will 4.56 work on the hi-way for me? I am running a 4.0L, 5
speed.
thanks,
paul
