Greetings,
Lots of things can affect starting on a vehicle that's left sitting for an
extended period of time. Low battery from parasitic drain, bad gas, junk
settling in the fuel tank are just a few that come to mind.
If the problem persists, try a few rounds of fuel treatment in the tank to
help clean out the junk every time you fill up. If not then just let it go
and remember to start your truck every several days when you leave it sit
for an extended period.
Cheers - Jonathan

It could be bad gas,but its sat much longer and not had any trouble
starting. Is there any way to "flood" a fuel injection system? It seemed for
all the world like a flooded carb.

This truck is fuel injected and pumping the pedal before starting the motor
won't actually send any gas to the cylinders because it does not have any
power to the fuel pump or fuel injection pump. I'd look more at a clogged
fuel filter, bad gas, water in the gas, clogged air filter, etc.
Good luck - Jonathan
