Well...it happened again last night... 45 miles from the house at
midnight....only this time it continued to...lose power(like the automatic
tranny was in neutral)...it would run for a little....lose power(like it was
free wheeling) ...had to coast to a stop....then turn off the engine...put
it in neutral/park...restart...finally
limped it home(took 2 1/2 hrs!)...repeated the "trip" drive this morning
taking it to the Kia dealership....they pulled the codes...slippage in the
4th whatever/torque converter issue...New tranny time! Thankfully the
transmission
is still under warranty(this was the SECOND!!!new tranny that the Kia dealer
has put into this car)...First t. had 47k on it when it died...this tranny
only has 10k on it... We're carless for 5 days(no trannys in stock)...Has
anyone else had this car problem??? What do
we need to be on the watch for now???:-(((((((((((( NOT A HAPPY KIA OWNER

In many case you can wait for 3 weeks for Kia America to ship a
Tranny. To make matters worse how would you like to have 4 trannys in 2
yeas installed.KIA has Problems.Trannys is just one of many. And who ever
re manufacturs them is the other part of the problem.
