My 2002 Sedona has been at the dealership for two weeks.  They called and said come and pick up the car, they can't find the problem.  My situation is...I heard a thud while driving on the freeway at 65 mph.  About an hour later the car stalled putting it into reverse.  Started right up.  While driving home going 65 mph, I had my foot on the gas pedal and all of a sudden the rpm's went to zero and got no response from the gas pedal.  Put into neutral and restarted car.  It seemed to only happen when misty outside.  Last episode...driving 40 mph same thing happened, however, it never completely turned off, so I couldn't restart the engine.  I put my flashers on and dealt with this for about 5 minutes, and then all of a sudden the car turned off and I put it in neutral and it started up.  I made one stop on my way home and turned the car off and when I restarted the car it kept stalling in reverse and drive.  I called and had them tow it.  The car also had a windex odor driving down the freeway, which was very strange.  The dealership has said they can't reinact what happened.  This problem only happens intermittently, so I can understand that, but...Any suggestions, I'm scared to drive my car.

Possibly:  Bad computer. Have the dealer replace the computer. Also have
them check the wiring harness. I've heard some complaints about these.

Well i can tell you its electrical. Probubly  a faulty ground or
arcing wire, during such weather. other than that, i dont have enough
info to diagnose it. sorry.

Hi I too have had some bizarre problems with my 2003 Sedona.  Two days after
I bought the van, the ignition coil assembly went out.  I was lucky and was
close to the dealership when all this happened.  I was driving on the
highway as well and I had loss of power and it came back on about six times
before the van almost did not move.  The dealership fixed it and I've had it
happen one time after, but hasn't happened since.  Good luck, I'm really
miffed about my situation because of the newness of the vehicle.  FYI, if
your drivers side car seat squeaks or feels loose, go in and have them
repair it.  I found out there is an internal memo called "technical times"
page 14.  However, they claim it's not a recall but many drivers have
complained about it.
