Sportage Opnions Please

I am considering a 97 Sportage and would welcome any opinions
warnings etc. Is the 4 wheel drive effective off road or mostly for
hazardous on road conditions?

Its useless, its full on and must only be used off road or you will have no
tyres left in short order.
