Got a code 128 on my 2001 sportage. Hasn't overheated and coolant isn't low.
Any other suggestions and will it hurt to drive it a while till I get time
to adress it.

P0128 represents too low a coolant temperature.  Check the coolant
temperature sensor to be sure it's operating properly.  If okay, replace
the thermostat.  It's probably stuck open.

It shouldn't hurt to drive it like this, but your fuel economy will likely
suffer.
