05 Sorento clock question

Is there anything special needed to set the clock in a Sorento?   I press
the buttons and set the correct time but after the car is shut off for about
2 hours or longer when it's started the clock always comes on at 1:03?  Just
talked the gilfriend into buying one and it is already starting...Damn

Kia has had a bunch of bad clocks and have replaced them.
