2002 Optima ECU - posting again

Well, my daughter's 2002 Optima LX passed the emission test yesterday - I
really didn't expect it not to.  BUT....I wanted to scan the ECU for pending
codes beforhand.  I can't find the OBD-II connector.  I told my daughter to
ask the shop to show her where it is.  They told her "driver's side, under
the dash" which is where I've looked (as well as under the hood).

Can someone be more specific?

just behind the plastic trim, in front of your knees, or right above the
gas peddle, you will see it there if you lay your head on the floorboard
and look up in that area. It actually fastens to the plastic trim.
