Hey group...Does Kia offer any models /options with a diesel? I am in the
northeastern US, and looking for a NEW or late model diesel, please reply
to this group post.

Yeah...that seems to be the case with most vehicles...available everywhere
in the world but here...I must be living in another country...THIS COULDN'T
HAPPEN IN THE USA!

Diesel models are currently only available outside of Canada and the US.
I'm told by Kia Canada the reason is there is no demand for such a vehicle
in North America. Interesting considering the current gas prices in "the
great white north!"
Not to say they will never be available; however, don't hold your breath.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
I own a Kia Carnival (=Sedona) with a 2.9 L Turbo Diesel & auto trans...
I live in France. Here most of vehicles are equipped with a diesel
engine (about 60%)
It's a good engine. My car is a 2000 model, it's a bit noisy. The 2003
model is less noisy and has more power (common rail)
Visit the Kia sites in Europe (UK, France, Spain, Germany...)
