Does anyone know what the gas mileage is on a Sedona? I'm thinking of
purchasing one but wnt to make sure it gets good gas mileage. I currently
have a 95 Chevy Astro and this thing sucks gas like crazy. I only get 12
miles a gallon. Thanks!

Had a 2002, and traded it for a 2004. Sadly, mileage was not its forte.
The '04 is better, but still not what you would call great.
But I don't see this ever going below maybe 15 or 16 on the '02. 12 is
pretty hideous for any vehicle, unless all your driving is in the city.
If you are looking at on '02, I doubt you would want something newer. But
the new '06 Sedonas have just arrived. They are seriously good vans, and I
suspect the mileage will actually be a little better, even though the new
one is larger.
But if you like holding on to your vans forever, consider one of the
remaining leftover '05s. You can get thousands and thousands off of them,
and the '05 will serve most people's needs pretty well.
Hope this helps.

I think the Rev. Tom had some sage advice. However, just to answer your
question, my '02 gets between 18 and 20 mpg. Most of that is freeway
driving at 75 - 90 mph on my way to work.
If you have the '95 Astro, do you have the Vortec 4.3L with the TBI or CFI
injection? You should be getting with either about 20 - 22 mpg. If you
have the CFI injector, and haven't replaced it recently, do so. That POS
got clogged up every 30 - 50K miles. (I had a '95 Jimmy with the 4.3 CFI
engine and delt with that for 150K miles prior to getting the Sedona.)

My 95 Astro is an AWD. I know it has a 4.3L V6 but that's all I know lol.
I love it, but who can afford the gas in that situation. I'll have to look
into what you mentioned...thanks!
