I use my 14 yr old SWB TD 90 less than 5000 mls per year but need to be covered for occasional use with my employer. The quote I have is £324. Incidentally, they are brokers and quoted £100 less than another broker for the same insurers!! But DO shop around. Try phoning around the advertisers in the back of the Land Rover magazines. They have one universal online form that you fill in, it then generates quotes from a hundred or so insurance brokers and gives you a list. Lots of the insurers found in the back of LRO are there. My list included a good quote from Lancaster, a Land Rover specialist (so they say). I rang them up in person and repeated it all over the phone and got the same good deal. Saves an awful lot of ringing around. DavidM Many thanks for all the tips, will have a ring round then I'm off to the S of France, so might not get back! (Not in the Landy I might add) |
