110 crossmember corrision

Hello i have a 87 110 land rover when i got it it only had three months
mot.i had a good look over it and all seemed well then last week i
removed the chequer plate covering the rear crossmember and found two
holes where reflectors had once been near the jacking points .the mot
is now due,i dont have a lot of money at the moment and was wondering
if this would be an mot fail ?thanks

If you put the chequer plate back on then no it should not fail !!!

But without the plate it should and rightly so.

Just don't go towing a trailer or even worse get involved in an off road
recovery.

I am sure you should be able to find someone to weld them up for you - cheap
enough!!!
