I'm considering converting  to LPG, and I have seen several posts where
people did it themselves.  I'm pretty competent with engines, although
this is the first V8 I have had.  Questions:

(1) Approximate cost for parts.  It's a 3.5 carb, bog standard for
vintage (AFAICT).

(2) Approx. no. of hours to do the job.

(3) Approx. consumption, based on the fact that she's doing about 15mpg
at the moment on petrol.

TIA,
Stuart

at least 12, I would think, depending on what tank option you choose.  If
you did 'em as a habit, perhaps less.

I got about 11 mpg from an 3.5 with an auto box.  you might get 1 or 2 more,
depending on use and heaviness of footwear.

tinleytech aren't bad, decent prices and knew their stuff when I got
one of their kits for bURRt, took about 2 days of mooching around,
measuring and tea drinking to fit.  Quite a straightforward job for
something that seems so complicated
