Right - Turns out not to be my router, so ive gone and got it from the
bottom of my garden.
I cannot browse at all now... But i can radmin over the internet to my
mums pc, on NTL, and browse that way. How shite.
Any ideas? Ive tried 3 different adsl filters, a router, a USB modem -
still on joy?
Any one else on Tiscali having problems?

You're using Windoze so it's poss^H^H^H^H probable that your box has
been 0wn3d. Have you had a look to see what your hosts file contains
and whether some piece of nastyware has redirected your nameservers?

Try;
telnet www.google.com 80
then;
GET /
press return a few times and if you get a load of HTML then it's
browser issues and not network issues. Check your connection settings
and then curse microsoft for preventing you from uninstalling then
reinstalling IE.

Can you ping well known domains?
o bbc.co.uk
o google.com
Can you browse web by ip?
o http://212.58.228.155/
o http://64.233.167.99/
If the answers are respectively No & Yes - then you have a DNS problem.
Try switching your DNS servers. e.g. http://opendns.com/

Seems that their DNS servers were playing up.. Managed to browse on my
mums pc to find their secondary server ip's. Much better.
