We have enjoyed Mothers method of dealing with the annoyance I spotted this
gem on another group introduced by Dan Castellenata ( Voice of many of the
Simpsons)

yep, I recall that. The murder scene is a classic though, spoilt only by
the inanity of the radio presenters.

You're absolutely right - on all counts.

Had tremendous sport the other day trying to get the twat to explain the
concept of a 'mobile' phone to this 'sad old bugger' that really was
pleased to hear the voice of another human if only they could make
themselves understood.

Never did find out what they had to sell - not even after 4 minutes <g>
