the lw is now on 12v
alternator light is burning so i don't have a charge.
a 12v splitcharge system is fitted, with 2 70ah batteries
alternator is a 55a one from an alfaromeo
disco 200tdi radiator is fitted to cool the 2.5 turbo engine
200tdi filter in a rangerover filterhousing and alfa romeo expantion
tank.
the trouble i have got are:
alternator light burns so no charge is coming to the batteries
oil leak from feeding or drain tube from the turbo
it had a little smoke when i put it away for a few weeks, and now when
i press the accelerator it produces fog, and thick fog.
can anyone tell me to go from here, i even considder to make it in to
a serie's 2 style vehicle including gearbox, diesel engine and
compression barrels.
cheers,
The dutch nutter.
