Where to buy MFT-94?

Mate has asked me to buy 5l to fill his Disco gearbox when I'm in the UK
- he can't get it here, and reckons it is difficult to get hold of in
the UK too.

Any ideas where I could pick it up off the shelf? (in Bristol?)

Castrol SMX-S is functionally equivalent and should be readily available.

Thanks - I'll see what I can do, but he is pretty insistent on Texaco
MTF94 - I'm sure you are right, but I think he's been round the block
with people telling him don't get this, get that & vice versa. He's
just had to replace the 'box so wants to get it right! I think I'll end
up at the LR dealer, but I hate the one in Bristol - Parts Dept look at
you like scum if your vehicle is over 6 months old!

Try a Honda dealer - their MTF-94 is the same product as the LR one.

Unipart factors carry MTF MTF94 is also the Texaco Variety

I ended up buying it from my local land rover dealer, wasn't too
expensive, and they hold it in stock.
