Hi Guys

I once read an article about using tubes internally on RnageRovers to
stop them bending...

Anyone got a www site with this mod ??

Thanks

I've heard of tubes used over track arms on the steering and seen one
Military spec Series with reinforced axle however never seen or heard the
need to reinforce a RR one.

What are you doing with it?

I think i've seen it, but cant recall where.
Cant imagine its too hard - you could just drift tubes in from each end,
making sure the halfshaft still had enough space, and weld them from the
outer end to stop em moving.

Not sure i can see the point though - I'd have thought youd be snapping
halfshafts and breaking diffs or diff casings long before you damaged
the tubes.

So was I it has come as quite a surprise, but it does have 24 spline
diff and custom made axles .........

Since I have to strip everything out to replace the housing I though it
might be worth the effort....

Nothing too much, just a club truck, a few mods and not a straight panel
left....

What is worse is that I have no idea when it happened, it is not like I
drive it hard....
