I have heard of conversions done to V8s to put turbos on them, does anyone
know any supplier?

Janspeed used to do kits but I don't think they do any more - still pop up
from time to time second hand.

Same for Turbotechnics.

Yeah, I was watching that as well, Austin. I seem to remember it went for
more than it was worth though, like so many items on ebay! I missed out on a
set of dcoe webber manifolds not long back also, as they went above what I
was prepared to pay.

I still have two janspeed ones, bearing shot on one and some bits of
linkage and manifolding missing, may be enough to duplicate a full set
from. never used it, inherited it from a mate emigrating. To my mind
it defeats the object of having a big lazy engine.

Will await photo. Am away South (Aylesbury) on business for 3 weeks as of
this Saturday morning coming, so pickup may be an option depending on where
you are?

3 weeks doing V8 rebuilds in Aylesbury? What happened? John Dennis got a job
lot in or CD Bramall have managed to trash everything on their front lot?

Hahaha, I wish! I'd much rather be doing V8 rebuilds than what I'm going to
do. It's my "other" work that's sending me there, and I've got to go -
something about potentially losing a lot of pension money if I don't!

works here, provided you reassemble it and put the /turbo.html bit on the
end, otherwise I got a "forbidden".

Hi all! I know this thread is very old and possibly dead, but . . . . .

If you are still wanting to turbofy your (rover?) v8 then go to:
http://www.chevroletls1.com/rover_v8.html it has brand new manifolds for
rover v8 engines!! Only £200 each!
