Hi,
Has anyone got any experience of Front Runner racks? I am seriously
considering one rather than the Hanibal equivelant.
What are noise levels like, build quality etc?
I really like the genius way of holding things down - slide an M8 bolt
in the grove in the Aluminium sections and screw lashing eys to those
- perfect - no need to drill the rack!
They also seem to be keenly priced - £520 + VAT inc. ladder, side
rails, powder coating (if required over ally?) and a wind deflector.
Any experiences welcomed.

They look well made, but I've not driven a vehicle with one on.
<shameless plug>
We can definately do something about that price ;-)

My Mate has one on his 110 and likes it alot.
What ever you do dont forget to fit the wind deflector, even tho its a
approx 12 wide piece of angle sheet the noise without this is terrible.
He had trouble fiiting a roof tent even tho his came without the side rails,
needed 3 x 1" packers to enable the tent cover to be fitted correctly.
I used a hannibal one and to be honest you dont get anything special for the
higher price.
If i was to buy one i would go with the patriot one its very well made. you
can remove various parts depending on what you need i.e. side rails, base
rails, totally remove base so your left with just normal roof bars.
