Hi peeps, I've been away for a while and just managed to catch up with
all the fun on a.f.l.
Quick question: does anyone know when the gap road is open to
vehicular traffic? The S2a is longing for some action :-)

Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question, although I think there is a
period when it is open about this time of year. I'd be interested in
driving this route so if you'd like some company get in touch.
(If no-one knows the answer I guess I could drive up there one evening and
read the notice at the end of the lane.)

OK, Gap Road is open from 1st to 31st March and then from 1st September to
15th October each year. At all other times it is closed by a TRO. Better
get your skates on.

Thanks to all for replies. Looks like it'll have to wait until next
