Does anybody have any experience of Rocky Mountain Roverdrive units fitted
to a 300tdi defender. Is the selector for switching in/out easily achieved
whilst driving or is it a bit of a "crash box"
Thanks for any info

It's a fully synchromeshed helical epicyclic gearbox. You simply
change into/out of overdrive just as you would change gear in the main
box. No need to double de-clutch, just a normal gear change will do.

Website details and how do they compare to GKN? My GKN died and stayed in
neutral .....bad idea down in the Africa desert.
