Hi,
Can anyone tell me the original colour of Sir Winston Churchill's Land Rover
"UKE 80"?
I have a black & white (scanned) photo of him standing in front of a very
dark colour open-top S1.
I'm thinking of making a model of that interesting scene.
Thanks

The motor heritage centre at Gaydon should be able to tell you the original
colour, by looking up the records.

The vehicle gets an article every so often in the mags,
perhaps a chat with them might get a back-issue? From
what I remember, the vehicle was supplied in green and
is totally original, having covered few miles.
