i've got the slider part of the landrover style height adjustable hitch now,
so i can get on with making my bike carrier up,
But now i need one of those towing jaws with the pin that goes through the
hole in the middle (NOT a nato type hook hitch, the dixon bate type one)
But i need a steel one not cast, and it needs to have paralell jaws,
apparantly they are not recomended for use when towing due to insufficiant
articulation up and down on bumpy roads, but it's ideal for what i want
where i dont want any up and down movement,
Problem is with them not being recomended for use, i cant find anyone
selling one.. appart from on ebay and i need one now.
Anyone got one they don't need anymore, would rather get a second hand one
than new to save money,
i'm located at Grantham, near nottingham, so can travel a little way to get
one,
idealy i need the type that has clearance round the sides.. i.e. not the
half moon shaped jaws, as i need the swivel part of the bike cradle to be
able to go all the way to one side for storage on the back of the van.
